As a therapist, my strongest source of learning has been getting to witness remarkable acts of courage by people facing seemingly insurmountable odds.

I understand how scary it can be to take the first step to change, or to pick the journey back up, and I am honored that you’re considering walking the path to healing with my support.

I value truly understanding and connecting with those I see, and cultivating a space where you are free and comfortable to let your guard down.   I’m a licensed clinical social worker in both Washington and Florida  with specialized experience in supporting adults, adolescents, and families in the contexts of complex trauma, addiction, compulsive behaviors, neurodiversity, mood disorders, anxiety, and personality disorders. My work is informed by emotionally-focused therapy, compassion focused therapy, attachment theory, DBT, CBT, and interpersonal therapy.

I received my Bachelors from New College of Florida and my Masters from Florida State University.   I believe that as most pain originates in relationships, most healing does as well. Through the relationship that we will form together, we will work to imagine new ways of relating to yourself and others that can help create meaning and fulfillment in your life.

Whether you’re looking for concrete skills and new ways of behaving in the world, or wanting to explore ongoing patterns that seem to recur in your relationships, I will tailor my approach to meet your needs and goals. In my off time I like to reconnect with my inner child by exploring, being near the water, going for bike rides, and grounding myself in nature with my dog, Ky.
